When the player has goods how much did he bet? When there is a good hand many players bet the value of the hand. You will learn how they bet if you wait until they show a winning hand. How do they bet when they are holding the best hand? So if you see this happening, you’ll realize he’s feeling really good about the cards he’s holding. If you have a great hand, you have 2 choices, you can either fold or raise the bet to a big amount.

How does he act when he’s bluffing? Just as the first one, this is equally important and significant. It is harder to notice a bluff than a good hand, but if you watch a player closely, they usually tend to show a sign when bluffing. Tells of a successful bluff include a sigh of relief from the player or a little smirk. Using the same strategy as the previous example, keep in mind what the player bet as a percentage of the pot when he tried to bluff. Sometimes these bets are random, but if you pay close attention you could notice an opponents bluffing pattern.
