A baseball game does not have to be completed for bets to be valid. After 5 innings of play, moneyline wagers are considered to be official. (Four and a half innings in case the home team wins).

Total/Runline wagers on baseball games become officially documented after nine innings of play. (8.5 innings of play if the home team is leads the game). Total and Runline wagers are settled as No Action if a game is called before 9 innings have been played. Usually, games that are called before 9 innings have been played have No Action set on their Total and Runline wagers If a game is not completed after nine innings or more, For example, a game may be shortened due to rain, suspension, or darkness.Runline and total wagers are subject to rule 3, and will still have action.

If a game of baseball is still not complete after nine full innings, (i.e. stopped, rain delay, or lack of light)wagers on the Runline and Total still have action.

If a game is suspended, wagers are settled using the score after the last complete inning, unless the home team has changed the outcome in the bottom half of the inning. In that case score at the time of suspension will be used to settle all wagers.

Bets on delayed games aren’t held over to another time.
